Such a sweet farm and a great family that runs it. All of their events are fun and well thought out. We love to go here for our Christmas tree. They actually shake and bundle it - a level of service that makes transporting the tree waaay easier.

We went for the lavender festival and had the nicest time! $10 entrance (free for kids), easy parking, nice bluegrass tunes, yummy scones, fun vendors! I loved it. Super kid friendly with a sandbox, playground, rock painting station, bubbles, face paint, the list goes on! We’ll be back :)

Wow! What a great tree cutting experience for the family 🎄! From the volunteers at the property entrance and in the parking lot, to the knowledgeable farm owner with saws and twine to use, to the quality tree that they haul over to the baling station for you, and all of the extras ie tree shake, free marshmallow roast by the fires, “snow” falling, cocoa and cider, free pictures with Santa…thank you Helvetia! You made this experience so memorable for our family! We love your vineyards and farmer’s market too.

Helvetia Lavender and Christmas Tree Farm certainly captures the holiday spirit! Happy families enjoying the tradition of cutting their own Christmas trees is a priceless experience! Open weekends from the day after Thanksgiving to Christmas, kids of all ages will find something fun going on at the farm. Get your photo with Santa, see a laser light show, play in the falling“snow” or on the playground, find Christmas gifts in the gift store, see cute little piglets, sip a hot beverage and get a bite to eat. We had a wonderful time there!

The property is excellent for children! I'm writing this review after visiting the Lavender Festival in July 2024, but we also got our Christmas Tree here in November 2023 as well. I've included photos from each in this review. The Lavender Festival was a delight, especially for our almost two year old daughter. There is a play area, plenty of food options, and fun vendors to walk around and see. I loved the lavender cold brew from Capitol Press Coffee Co. that definitely got me in the spirit. For $10 a person (and children free), we had a blast and would happily come back. For the tree farm, we loved the gift shop, Santa, the hot chocolate, and the trees, of course. While they had pre-cut, we appreciated the experience of picking out our own without a terrible amount of effort. Once you cut your tree, you tag it and leave it by the road and a tractor will pick it up and bring it to check out. This was the most beautiful and long lasting tree we've ever had. Highly recommend a stop out this way in both summer and winter!
